I know. I was just clarifying your point.

The broader message is that the Tradere line could develop much further, but it all depends on how well this initial offering sells.

Indeed! Thanks for the assist!!! I need to do more proof reading before I reply when I am sleep deprived. Initially read your message as a response to me haha. I will be happy to be one of many to help with out with this initial release. Been going back and forth between the two options since the initial news. Honestly might just have to flip a coin.

Or get both?

Shane - will you be offering multiple baseplates or will each baseplate have to be purchased with a cap and handle?

Very excited for this one.

I highly recommend you to have one more SB improved model which is more aggressive than original 2nd generation. To make it more efficient.
Since with SB, I cannot get blade feeling that is good but the effectiveness is so low. Effectiveness is much less than RS10A, CG LVL2 and WR1 .74. It is a mild razor. Hope you will make one more aggressive SB model, too.

OC one is pretty efficient but it is not that smooth. Tonne of blade feeling. If you create one more OC model and improve its smoothness and less blade feeling, it will be perfect.

Traderes are very nice razors but I honestly prefer Raw, Charcoal, Wolfman more.
Hope you will do some updates over original models, too. Might be in future after first Blackland/Tradere release....

I love the sound of that blade-forward OC v1. That’s what I’m getting.

My best shavers in my den is my WR2 1.15 DC and a BBS-1. Which would be as similar in terms of efficiency and smoothness?

I must be shaving with a different razor as far as the Tradere 1st Gen OC as I find it to be smooth with a Feather, in it, very well balanced and about as efficient as my WR1 .94 DC so if the next Generation of Tradere’s shave as well I’ll be a happy camper. I will get the SB as I sold my original in a moment of stupidity but it was milder/ less efficient than the 1st Gen OC but I don’t remember it being a whole lot smoother.

BBS-1 is incredible razor, I think it is my best razor in my den.

I like to use Nacet or ASCO for my aggressive razors. I mostly use Feather, KAI, Sharp Edge or Wizamet for WR1 .74, CG LV2 and RS10M.
When I use my WR1 .91 for ATG, I never get nick/cut and no irrigation, it gives me amazing smooth and very efficient shave. Sometimes I am doing only single pass ATG.
But with OC v1 for ATG, I have to be careful. It is definitely efficient, but I feel much more comfortable with WR1 .91.

^That’s pretty much correct. Progress is still being made, though. We have the handle design settled and I have a sample now which I’ll share on social media tomorrow. The new handle, while looking almost identical, is so much better than the original. I’m extremely pleased with it.
