We're curious to find out, too. I don't know if will sell out quickly, but if it does we have a contingency plan to start production right back up to minimize the availability gap.

Hi Shane, that sounds good. I'm speculating on a Black Friday deal (when the time comes) and a Titan version by then.
Wish you much success with this fantastic razor. A lot of people are just as excited as I am.

Thanks for your kind words! The Osprey will not be discounted for Blackland Friday this year. It wouldn't be fair to our customers paying full price at launch to discount it so soon after.

Titanium timeline is unclear and depends on stainless demand. Hopefully we'll have those this year!

Just got the e-mail blast.  Just wanted to be the first to say..."IN"

The Osprey
The newest Blackland razor is here! The Osprey is an adjustable razor like no other. Its three-piece design and lightweight stainless steel construction give it the feeling and rock-solid performance of a traditional DE razor. But with our innovative mechanism featuring nine infinitely adjustable shave levels that vary from mild to highly efficient and everything in between, the Osprey is anything but traditional.

Black and Gold Blackbirds
We’ve spent most of this year designing and engineering the Osprey in public on YouTube until every single detail was absolutely perfect.

After hundreds of prototypes and thousands of hours, we can proudly say that this is the most obsessively-designed and innovative product we’ve every produced.

The Osprey will be available on September 22nd for $350. Orders are expected to be fulfilled by the first week of October.

We know you will have a lot of questions about the Osprey. Over the coming weeks we’ll be sharing all the details that make the Osprey such a special razor.

Yes. There is a matching Osprey stand. It’ll be shown in the lead up to launch.

We're deep into stainless production right now. While production is ongoing, we're currently preparing for titanium (programming, choosing tools, scheduling, ordering material, etc) so as soon as stainless is complete we can roll into titanium relatively seamlessly. But we'll only go into titanium when we're confident that we have sufficient inventory of stainless. If It looks like we're going to sell out of stainless quickly, then we have a contingency plan to keep stainless production going for another month or so. That would push off titanium development an equal amount. It's a zero-sum game where we have to choose how to allocate our machines and production hours. Either way, I don't currently see a reason that we wouldn't have Osprey Titanium this year.

Hi Shane, the price difference between the Titanium Blackbird and the stainless steel version is $ 120. Is that also about the amount that awaits us at the Osprey?
