The new OC version will be released very soon per Shane. That is my cup of tea.

I will be watching for early reviews of the OC plate. I am still relatively early in with my Blackbird Ti (Satin) but the OC plate sounds interesting.

I expect slightly more blade feel and efficiency.

I’m about 5 shaves into the blackbird TI satin and so far it’s been great. It’s my first TI razor and loving it. Still figuring it out a bit tho but can tell it has the perfect combo of smooth yet close shave.

+1 On the "perfect combo of smooth yet close shave".  The first thing I did when my satin Ti Bird arrived was to shave with it three days straight.  I got three very smooth and comfortable shaves - two BBS and one slightly rushed DFS.  Mind you, I am not normally a daily shaver.  It was all very intuitive too.  Nothing to figure out, and I love how the razor sits in my hand.

I should have posted the results sooner, but life was happening at the time, so it is better late than never.  In any case, I got exactly what I was looking for with the satin Ti Bird.
