I did purchase a Stainless steel stand cause I want one that just work as should. Guess what it is the same fit as the Titanium one that came with my razor.
Ok so , after going to the scale with both the Ti and SS stands I now have they both weigh the same 68 grams. This isn't right either! Oh my! What now?
Believe me if I didn't like the razor alot it would have been returned and the nuisance involved.

There are so many nice razors... Blackbird Ti is one of my fav, that is why I am keeping, but I am getting better shave with CG Gen 3 LV3..
CG gives easier BBS under chin..

I am sure you have so many nice razors. If I were you, I would return it.

Not a good look for Blackland.

I must agree tho, bad juju in the den must be exorcised. Performance be damned.

I do wonder how many guys would even notice a material switcheroo?

Well I do have some good batters in my razor team. I'm past the razor return so I'll keep her, and not sure about the funky stand thing.

I would probably just return the stand and make do without one.

Yeah it seems futile for me at this point

If it were me I'd return the stand and the handle and ask Shane to find me a handle and stand combo that does work together and then have them sent to you, otherwise I would just live without a stand!! I haven't purchased a stand for my Ti BB because I just don't care for the way they look together and it just doesn't look like it would hold the razor secure enough...

ETA... I am thinking this problem has only been experienced so far in the polished version as I can't remember anyone saying the machined had the same problem. Maybe the polishing is removing too much material?

Would love to hear what Blackland Razors has to say about the SS and Ti stands both weighing 68grams.

Was considering a purchase from them in the future but this has really put me off.

Interesting. This just means that the user got two titanium stands. Stainless weighs ~115g.
