I don’t want to be a spoil sport but why would anyone want a shave brush that commemorates Covid-19??

I really like BE brushes but I find this in poor taste.  This is a disease that has killed friends and relatives and put millions of people out of work.  Families are suffering and he makes a brush to commemorate Covid -19??

The description says he is commemorating "Those who passed away from COVID 19"  not commemorating COVID 19 itself, but the people who suffered cause of it.

Its exactly the same as us in the USA, that we commemorate Memorial Day,  where we commemorate those who died due to the wars or battles,  not the war themselves.

I apologize then for calling it in poor taste.  I just read on the BE website that is was intended as a tribute to those that have suffered or passed from Covid-19.  Regardless,  I don’t want to be reminded every morning about it.

That's totally fair!    I'm even more into this brush due to its historical significance of 2020, which we will never really forget, even 25-30 years from now.

Thanks, man!  I Will definitely provide initial impressions and a true review after 15-20 uses as well.  I have been told Black eagle brushes take a lot longer than usual to break in due to density.

Ht1 was ready out of the box. Ht2 looks a lot like zt3. Bradley’s description sounds similar too. Will see what you think.

Oh man!  Now you are getting me REALLY EXCITED (as ZT3 is now my favorite knot of all times).    If anyone has input on the HT2 knot,  much appreciated (I assume this is not the first HT2 release, right?

It's a nice knot, not in the same league as an HT1 but still nice. if I had to compare it to another knot it would be a cross between a DG B3 & B8

I bought one of the 25mm HT2s a while back. I reached for my ZTs more so I sold it a couple weeks ago and haven't missed it.

As to the engraving, it may not be in poor taste, it just ain't my taste. I tried, but was kinda glad I missed the phone number too.

To me, HT2 reminds me more of B2 than anything else. It’s finer hair than HT1. Sort of like B2 but with more backbone (possibly due to higher density). It blooms much larger than HT1.

Told my wife about this purchase and she is also super emotional about it (a first for her and any shaving item), since she is a Medical Doctor and has attended an immense amount of COVID 19 patients (which led her to also get COVID 19 herself a few months back, but luckily she had no major symptons).

This is the only shave purchase she has 100% approved due to the closeness to her work.

I feel the same way. Even have the portrait of the virus on there. Yikes!

Doesnt seem the population shares that sentiment, they were sold out in mere seconds.....and people are making mad posts on his fb thread about not being able to get one. I love both the green color (dont have a green brush yet) and also the commeration to Covid 19 victims. I know due to the very limited and one time release, I could sell this brand new for probably $800 easily (not that I will, im a hobbyst not a conman), but I do know this bursh will hold or double its value, so a safe purchase.
