It’s a great one. About to order a second one. I like the 30mm B11 I have. Still not as good as my B6 but close.

The Jasper had specks of red in it too which I thought was nicer than the Quartz

Right on! That handle looks great...and I know know the hair matches it. Glad it worked out for you. As with all things shaving, it is hard to make suggestions because everyone is so different. This one was was easy....like Mr. Taco chocotacokid said, B11 is available...readily.

If you lie it...a lot...you may consider a second. Smile

I’ve heard great things about B6, as well as 1,2, and 5. Probably best for my wallet that I wasn’t around for those.

I didn't get into brushes until B6. The first brush I commissioned, for my 50th Bday, was an Elite custom with a 30mm B6. It's very good. From B6 on I had a few of just about every hair after, all in Dec handles. I am down to my last one. I am trying to keep my brush fix in check, unlike some others (LOOT eyes G george1906 )...I couldn't put together a top 10 if I had to. With any luck, I'll keep it that way until my son is ready to raid my badgers. Then I'll commission some more.

I started with a B3 ebonite. That was my first DG brush and that one is extremely rare. He only made a couple runs of actual ebonite Jefferson brushes so I have held on to that one for years. From there, I have owned a couple B4’s a B5, a B6 and a recent B11.The 4 that I still have is that B3, B4, B6 and the new B11. Might get another B11 but that’s it. In between B6 and B11, I discovered Srdjan at Rhodium Knots and went all in with him and developed a great relationship with him. Yes, I am a knot snob and a brush fanatic but I am really trying to curb that addiction this year. Purging is in my vocabulary these days thanks to LOOT and a hand full of other shave buddies that have helped me with my addiction!!

What is the best brush knot in your opinions? That darn rob/chisel and hound is what I usually hear. I personally have never wet shaved yet but am trying to get some stuff together.

Very intrigued with Srdjan’s Rhodium knots. Haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I was wondering if you could compare them to the DG b6 one of my favorite batches. Btw, my preference is for shorter lofted, super dense soft tipped knots. Thanks

I like Srdjan’s knots a tad bit more than my DG B6.

They were a lot less money back then! I started with B5. You could almost buy two of them for the price of one B12. I have enough B2s, B5s and B6s to scratch the itch, so I’m not too inclined to buy new ones.
