Best Container for an Aftershave Balm?

Hiya folks!

Just curious as to what your preferences are regarding the containers for aftershave balms, especially the thicker ones that don't really flow that well. Do you like pump bottles, squeeze tubes, the tottle bottles that Soap Commander uses, or something else entirely? What do you think?

For me, I have some Soap Commander balm and soap on order, but, as it stands, I've torn between squeeze tubes (though not the metal ones, which I think are kind of annoying) and pump bottles. I like the Nivea milk glass bottles, but they're really only suited to very thin balms, so I kind of discount them for that reason.

What say you?

Well, Captain's Choice is a splash, which is rather different, but thanks for the feedback (and the support).

I'd say I prefer squeeze tubes, something like Cade comes in. A small open tub/tin is okay, too. I actively dislike pump bottles.

I had the same dilemma when I made my balm for the first time. It's not thin enough for the glass bottle and it's not thick enough for the tube. I elected to use pump bottles, because that's what I prefer. There is that one disadvantage though, when you use up a bottle, little product is left at the bottom and it's impossible to get out.
Upside down squeeze bottles like SC uses look nice, but they are not for me, I'd always prefer pumps.

I think it depends on the consistency. For thicker balms, I would prefer a pump bottle (like Mühle/EJ/T&H10). At the same time, I think that Mickey Lee Soapworks did a good job in picking a bottle with flow restrictor for their milks, which are quite runny. Conversely, I hate (as much as I love the scent!) the squeeze tube of the TOBS Jermyn Street AS crean: it is not appropriate for a runny balm. The squeeze tube works well for balms with medium consistency, like Speick.

I like RazoRock's pump bottles. It's easy to squeeze out too much with tubes.

My dream balm bottle is a squeeze tube like soap commander only it's volume is 100ml. I care about the size restriction for business travel (max liquid for carry on), and seriously, who actually will use more than 100ml of an aftershave balm? I have about thirty bottles of balm that are 80-99% full.

For a thicker balm I like the Soap Commander container. If it's thinner a translucent pump bottle is great.
