Skin Food Lotion / Splash / Serum and to have those in an original (two!) bay rum(s) is, in my opinion a really special thing. Maybe Frank Dragonsbeard will eventually fill out the Tortolla skin food splash with a lotion and serum. I know I’d buy them.

Any updates? Did you kill the Birdy ? The mailman ?

I challenge (beg?) any top tier soap maker to make a dupe/homage of Ogallala in their base.

lol, no!
they came and I have them sitting on my desk next to my computer as I type this. I wouldn't run them as a traditional bay rum, nor as a bay rum where I proclaimed bay rum as the dominant scent. I'm going to run 1 of those in the near future (possibly towards the end of 2023) and just note that there are hints of bay rum within the scent blend.

Totally agree with the aftershave. Soap is vegan so doesn't work as well as I like. Fixed it by adding tallow from another soap that had no scent. Now it lathers up like a dream and still has most of the Ogallala bay rum smell.
