I can love my wife and daughter and still want my male fantasies indulged - up to a point, and even as a laughable old man.  Like John Rose,  I do have a line, although it is not in the place same as John's.

That tag line “gone to Carolina” is just awesome.

I agree and feel exactly the same. Not telling people what they should do. My guess is they, the businesses, feel there's a bigger market they're aiming for than the few they may be alienating.....

I guess Art College (me and SWMBO) had something to do with where my line is.

I do like labels like the ones on Humphrey's Witch Hazel -

She's just too girl-next-door charming not to appreciate.

I'm more likely to pass on a soap like this one, for the language in the name.
My years in and around radio studios probably influenced that. ("Always assume that every microphone is Live to Air. Always. Even the ones stored away in the spares cabinet.")

Ah but you missed the part about the “getting lucky”.  I’ve been with that woman since 87 and my full length mirror tells me my best years are behind me. ?

I guess they figure that they will garner more customers than they will lose via that method. Regardless, we'll never know as we won't see their accounting books. On the other hand, I don't buy soaps because of their labels any moreso than I would a car for the paint scheme. I can admire a nice label just as I can admire a busty beautiful woman, but if she can't cook then out she goes.......................................in the morning.  Big Grin   Wink

All joking aside, having a racy label makes me think that the product isn’t really good enough by itself and is trying to “trick” me into buying.
