Doing side by side comparison of 2 coconut soaps: Stirling Creamy Coconut and PdP Coconut.
So far prefer the scent of Stirling albeit the PdP far more natural but hands down, no contest, the PdP better as a soap regarding lathering, softness/creamy texture of lather and finish; PdP skin feel after rinsing is just remarkable by comparison.
In future sticking with PdP for price/quality advantage over MdC unless the sample of Dolce Vivere my Italian friend is bringing in as great as lesser claims

Only have now - belatedly - seen this. Well, you're going to try the Dolce and I've, in turn, purchased another PdP to try. Very much want to pay attention to the post-bath skin feel.
Side by side usage mid shower has been very revealing, especially when somewhat matching scents as one can be swayed by family preferences. By so doing have found prefer PdP to all domestic artisans to date and, much to astonishment, found it a close match to MdC at a significant cost savings. All that stated, based on your review, short but well penned, suspect that you are correct in the conclusions of your initial post. The wording, without exhibiting any effort, revealed this a better soap based on your water and skin type.
Highly anticipating getting a bar to discover if it a solution here. In interim will await your side by comparison. If you let me know the scent of the Italian soap, will send a bar from my inventory as closely matching as possible

Before, we used for a couple of year Dr Bronner's bars, also very nice.Rudy, I thought I was the only one addicted to this as well. A regular in my shower
