Oh no, this one isn't going anywhere. It's the Classic. There will also be Cooling, Spice, and Lavender.

Predict as you will.

OoooooOoo the lavender sounds nice. What sort of spice will be highlighted in Spice?

Suppose you'll just have to find out.

Are you able to tell us when they will become available so we can find out...

Tragically, not yet. I've been working on this for a year and a half now and it's STILL not finished. I'm meeting with some people next week who should be able to help us at least get the SPLASH base finished, though. Cooling fragrance is already done, Spice is one draft away from completion. Haven't received the source material for Lavender yet, though.

Packaging design is moving along site is about half finished. I would estimate within the next six months, if not sooner.

Tried it the first time today. A great astringent feel from the alcohols that quickly evaporates and give way to some fragrance that is very reminiscent of LGC but I do not know the corresponding ingredient. Will maybe you can help identify it as that is the fragrance that makes me go sniffing the LGC tub.
Directly after that short appearence an overpowering scent of newly sawed Juniper bush takes first place. This is great in my book as my father is a carpenter and I like the aroma of different woods. The juniper diminishes over a couple of hours and now 4-5 hours later it has almost been replaced by the initial fragrance but at a much lower intensity. The protection and feel is there as well and all in all I think this will be a go to AS for me especially after a shave with LGC.

Sorry, not releasing the fragrance notes until it's ready for launch. Don't want to interfere with people's perceptions. Smile

Ahh, yes, the old crutch some folks use. They don't know what they smell, so they just regurgitate the Artisan's notes. Scent is an almost mystical sence. It's often closely attached with memory of events, objects, or even time frames. My methodical natural often causes me to shoehorn the notes to something more familiar. My being an layperson, it typically takes several exposures for me to really appreciate a particularly complex scent, for which B&M are known. I think the suggestions that there are callbacks to Floid and Clubman come from the presence of linalool, citronel, (and I think coumarin?).

Are we even close?

Hehe...

So I finally had the opportunity to try the Bannister's Reserve sample which came with my "Night Music" soap and aftershave order. The scent -- very hard to describe, but I liked it very much. Surprisingly, my wife liked it as well (she notoriously seems to loathes everything I like). Post-shave feel -- off the charts! Absolutely amazing! I literally found myself rubbing my chin and face on several occasions during the evening after my shave. I can't describe why I liked it; all I know is I liked it a lot. Mark me down as a person whom will be purchasing a bottle of each scent. Also, if you plan on making any additional scents other than Classic, Cooling, Spice, and Lavender -- think "Vetiver".
