My Lyssa arrived a couple of days ago and I just used it for this morning's shave.  Happy2  The excelsior base is awesome as I expected and the Lyssa scent is excellent.  Its nice to have another addition to the "dark" fall shaving line up.  There are several dark offerings on the market right now but Barrister and Mann has been among the few (only?) with a whole collection of dark.  Lyssa is a fine addition to Hallows, Leviathan, Nocturne and Fougere Gothique.  Its on the slightly lighter side of dark as is Nocturne but still fully on the dark side.  I really like it.

Here's an idea - package the entire dark collection in a limited edition collector box all with unique containers/features kind of like you did with the zombie pack for Lyssa.  Collectors love that stuff, like, for example,  the Jordan shoe pack LE collections that combine two or three pairs of ultra limited sneakers.  They're always pricey but always sell out.

I'm on the fence with Nocturne.  Is it less dark and more fall or is it dark enough to stand with the heavy dark?  Lyssa for sure can stand with the heavies and its good to know those brain munching zombies will stay away.  For now.

First Snow brings me back to a time when my Pops would open the trunk of our car on a hot summer day and the smell of our (my older brother and the twins) baseball mitts filled the air! I LOVE this Leathery/Suede scent, cooling and a hint of balsam/fir!

My Halloween shave was Top Notch, thanks B&M!

For the record, I LOVE the new Art Work that everyone seems to be mixed on.  It’s my opinion this kit has a cult-like following and should receive a yearly facelift keeping in theme.  Maybe throw a hidden B&M coin in one or two of the soaps for a Limited Edition Leviathan soap dish made of ceramic or wood, idk free styling here....

That Dickens label is top notch.

I also wanted to give some feedback on Angelique. The last year or so I made a decision not to bring on new gear unless I sold off or traded gear. Essentially I never stopped getting new stuff as I have been able to let little used gear go.

I put together an order last week and got to take Angelique for a spin today.

I'm a huge fan of FG. I've found that while I'm always going to prefer citrus forward scents I'm drawn to petrichor scents as well. They or maybe it's my feeling aren't meant for the office for the most part. I've also found that Fougeres dont move me at all for the most part.

Anyway, one of the reasons I prefer FG over Tempest for instance is that the FG has a depth to it after dry down that just kicks ass. Still petrichor in name but much more nuanced.

Bring in Angelique........it hits you with that citrus vibe but in dry down you get that FG vibe but not as rich.

Anyway, you read all the time about day and night scents and I've found that you could easily start the day with Angelique and by happy hour freshen up with FG and not skip a beat. The handoff is effortless between these two.

Hope to see an EDT for Angelique even if a short run for day engagements. Especially if Will can do the same magic he did when making the FG edt.

Glad you like it. Smile I'm hoping to convince Brad to let us offer an EdP, but we'll see how it goes.

I would be all over an ‘Angelique’ EdP, such a great Scent.

Well, I couldn't resist the scent description for the SFWS Saguesera soap/AS so I am officially $40 poorer and begin the wait for these two to arrive. I bought another SFWS soap, Citricuya, and kicked myself for not getting the AS while available.  Angry
