My order was for 2 soaps, 2 toniques, and 2 shirts (2015 and 2016). I got all that and the candy corn. Just no button. My question was mainly out of curiosity as to what dictated a button inclusion and what didn't.

My order was exactly like Matt's...no button...

I got a 2016 shirt and the soap. Came with two bags of candy corn.

My 8 year old was thrilled, and quickly proceeded to swipe one of the bags of candy. Tried to steal the shirt so she could sleep in it. I shot that idea down real fast. Pretty sure she's already got plans for that other bag of candy...

Loving the packaging, and the add-ins. I'm looking forward to the first shave with the soap.

FWIW, my last few orders didn't have a button, but a few orders ago, I went to throw out the packaging and heard a 'tink' in the garbage bin. Looked and there was a button. So, it's easy to miss with the packing. I have a feeling it's a random thing.

If you have 2015 Hallows, the only reason to buy 2016:

You want the Glissant base.
You want the new label/packaging.
You want to stock up.

Shaved with it yesterday: The performance is what I've come to expect with the glissants-exceptional-and the scent is complex. If you think 'Halloween' and think Will was going to do pumpkin spice and cloves, think again. This is complex.

Is there any difference between 2015 and 2106 Hallows scent?

Nothing beyond what one would expect from the natural transformation of a year-old, used soap.  To my nose, the labdanum seems to intensify a bit as Hallows ages.  In reality, it may be simply that the vetiver and cedar fade a bit.  I'm speaking only to the lathered soap.  Casual users won't likely notice this.

If you have 2015 Hallows, the only reason to buy 2016:

• You want the Glissant base.
  
• You want the new label/packaging.
  
• You want to stock up.
  

All of which are good reasons, in my opinion.
