People keep sussing out loopholes. One guy worked out a way to earn enough points for a $25 coupon without spending a penny. It's not really much of a loyalty program if we're getting screwed, you know? Big Grin I close them when I see them, but I don't catch everything. Reserve is much simpler. Referrals are a beautiful thing. Smile

Why are there always a few who ruin it for the many? Angry

This is what I was thinking. Crazy.

Will, that's terrible. Sorry you have to deal with stuff like that. Most of us are honest and simply love your products. Please do not forget that!

No, I know. And you guys are super awesome! But we had to protect ourselves from those who are less than ethical. It's really working well, though. Smile

Will, just shaved with Beaudelaire. What an interesting scent. I've not used any fougere type scents previously, so I have no frame of reference. But subtle and pleasing.

I also have to say that the preorder idea was genius. I much prefer having the option to secure the order rather than fighting for an online order. I hope you have had good feedback from it and are considering the option for next year's order as well!

Hi Will, I just used Beaudelaire this morning and its wonderful! Thank you once again. I'd also like to throw my hat in with Red Tipped Cobra regarding the pre-order model. Its very civilized indeed - I don't mind waiting and I don't mind paying a little extra in postage having to order from the US in exchange for the knowledge that I will actually get the item. Will you be using this model for all releases or just the special ones? I'm thinking I'd like to get Hallows that I missed last year and Leviathan which is just so great.
Thanks,
Marko

Just for the special ones. There's no real reason to do it for the seasonals and such because we make them for months at a time. It's a lot of work and is only really beneficial if we're doing it for something that has a large demand and limited supply.

Barrister_N_Mann Thank you for making my shaves a pleasure.

I think pre-orders work really well for soaps and aftershaves. I have no problem paying a little early for the convenience factor. For those that want to wait, there are now fewer people competing over limited stock.

Are the Barrister's Reserve bottles plastic or glass?
