Seville and Le Grand Chypre this Friday.

Le Grand Chypre is one of the few B&M Soaps I haven't tried. Can anyone describe the scent on this one?
Spicy lime, and I like it.

Le Grand Chypre to my nose is really well blended, meaning it's hard to say what really sticks out but I could get the spicy lime, so what I will add is I do get some floral and resin/musk facets. I enjoyed it a lot and would love to get it as a EDT.

New soaps are up. Ill throw my hat in the ring of LGC scent notes as well. Its my favorite BM scent and I get lime and moss notes most of all.

Too bad I'm not even 1/3 of the way thru my tub of Seville in Excelsior. Oh well. But, the holidays are coming up and I'd bet a silver dollar Will's got a trick or two up his sleeve. I'd sure like to see Petrichor or Sunny Lane in this new base. Please, Santa.

I received my tub of new base leviathan today. It’s a little different to my nose from previous iterations. I did a side by side with leviathan excelsior.

I have a tub of Le Grande Chypre from back in the Glissant days. I enjoy the scent of LGC, but because it is a lime forward scent, the soap irritates my sensitive skin.

I have a similar issue with Seville, also in the Glissant formula. I enjoy the scent, but because it is a lemon forward scent, I also get irritation.

Grapefruit causes similar issues.

Fortunately, I do not have an issue with the orange citrus oils such as bergamot, orange, mandarin, and neroli.

I do have some soaps that do contain lime, lemon and grapefruit that do not cause significant irritation, but in those soaps, these scents play a minor role.

I know that Seville is one of the most popular Barrister and Mann scents, so I presume my skin sensitivity places me in the minority. Hopefully, many of you will enjoy Omnibus in either Le Grande Chypre or Seville.

I think LGC is one of Will’s best scents     Happy2 It’s up their with Cologne Russe as masterpieces for me.

And now the question, will Hallows be coming in Omnibus soon?

LGC and Seville among favourite scents but it the edgy renditions unavailable elsewhere such as Fougere Imperiale and Beaudelaire. that pique my interest.
