ANG69 thanks so much for the feedback. Like you, I really enjoy these soaps and look forward to trying Chris’s new scents as he releases them.

How would you describe the scent from Portals? I don’t believe I’ve seen any reviews yet.

To my nose the Portals smells very green with a healthy dose of spiciness. It says on the WCS website that it has lime, but I would need to use the soap more to be able to clearly detect it. The strength of the scent is not overwhelming for me like in the Hot Barrel , but the scent of the Portals is not faint either. There is also a very noticeable note that distinguishes Chris’ soaps from the rest. All in all I like it!

I use a calculator to create a soap that is on paper balanced in its properties and very lather producing. Coconut oil is not bad for the skin. Can be drying if used in heavy amounts. My using is very small in my soaps, but it is there to round out all of the qualities I looked for in my formula 4.5
Chris, I’d like to thank you as well for clarifying the matter — and for making great soap!
