for those have used it, does it lather easier than reserve? I have cool in the reserve base and I'm not a fan of how much work it takes me to get a decent lather. I'm quite happy with my soaps in the glissant and white label bases.

I did not like the goo. Looking forward to this improvement.

I actually kind of like the goo. Not because it’s ready to use as such, but because to me, it’s a signal that I’m loading actual soap instead of just whipping up a batch of airy froth.

Of course there are soaps that load well without the goo stage, and it sounds like this new soap will be just that.

Anyway, how does everyone think the new scent sounds? Vespers will be the first scent in this new base. All I can say is, when I see mousse de saxe in the scent notes, I'm very interested. Beaudelaire is one of my favorites so this one definitely sounds intriguing.

Same here — “mousse de saxe” are magic words because of Beaudelaire. (I’m still hoping that Will brings that one back at least once more, but Vespers definitely sounds like an interesting scent independent of Beaudelaire.)
