I received the whole set yesterday.
Off the tub, Death and Famine are quite cologne-y, as in elegant scents. Plague is herbal, in a good way. War smells like cilantro.

I want to lather them up and apply the splash to see how the fragrances develop.

Thanks for the feedback. I wouldn’t have guessed any of that from the promo/scent notes.
