Hello everyone I know this topic has been done to death but due to all the new and upcoming artisans I thought this would be an interesting topic.

Considering performance only:

My top tier would be: Mike's, Mystic Water, Nuavia, Jabonman (All almost equally good)
A very close second tier: MWF, B&M, L&L, Stirling, CRSW(newer version), Shanon's, Grooming Dept, MLS , Dr. Jon V2(some are better than others)
Third: Chiseled Face, Soap Commander, Wickham,Paladin, Cooper&French, K Shave Worx
Bad Tier: StacheSoap, FuzzyFace Soaps

I may have missed a few that I have used also omitted some like Haslinger, MdC, SMN etc because I'm not sure what they are (artisan or not).

I usually don't (re)buy stuff from makers who fall out of first two tier after a fair amount of use. But once in a while I make an exception/

These changes but these are my tiers for now:

Tier 1: L&L Bison, Tallow & Steel, Wholly Kaw Donkey Milk, Saponificio Varesino 4.3 formula

Tier 2: B&M Glissant, CRSW Select & Oliva, PAA/CrownKing, Wholly Kaw Tallow, Mike's, MLS, Dapper Dragon, Saponificio Varesino 4.1 and lower

Tier 3: Stirling, Shannon's, Sudsy Soapery, Phoenix & Beau, B&M Latha, Wholly Kaw Vegan, Nuavia, Catie's Bubbles

I'm sure I forgot a few. I haven' tried B&M's Reserve base yet, haven't been able to test Grooming Dept very much yet but I have a full tub, I also have an unused tub of OSP and a sample of Turtle Ship on the way.

Based on performance only:

Desmond's Barrow, Barrister & Mann (glissant, latha, and reserve--in that order), Sudsy Soapery, Chiseled Face, Grooming Dept, L&L Grooming, Tallow + Steel, Stirling Soap Co., Soap Commander. These are not so much tiered as they are all quality and it has more to do with the mood I'm in when I put together my morning shave. All will give excellent results and I may have forgotten a couple.
