Apex by Aylsworth Razors

I wonder if Apex will be offered in bronze/brass or copper at some point? I've the Kopparkant Plus on order and looking forward to trying it once it arrives. Then again, maybe a stainless Apex would be a good choice. Nice to have a similar "house" style between them but different appearance due to different metals used.

I would love a machined SS Apex. I'm not crazy about the finish on the current one.

Are the Drakkant and Apex plates interchangeable? I know the Kopparkant and the Drakkant are.

I don’t believe so. They are totally different geometries.

Ok, I was just curious.  I'll have to compare the Apex to Drakkant to Yates at some point.  Love my Yates EH open comb, The Drakkant open comb is great too.

Sorry I'm late to the party, have been away renovating my house. I just had my 1st shave with the Apex AL and have to say this is the only aluminum razor I've tried that I actually like. Henson, Standard, Razorock...etc. were not my cup of tea. This is even better than many of my SS & Ti razors.  I used a Personna med prep and had a super smooth & efficient shave. Well done Ayslworth!...now I "need" the SS version
