On Foro Afeitado forum, they are almost ready to ship the custom forum brush for 2019. This may be a brush not many would love as I see many gentlemen loving a more dense, backboney, 2 band brushes with gel tips. This brush is likely to one of the last brushes I seek to purchase. I could be happy with the handful of badger brushes I already have but this is right up my alley. HMW 3 band, untreated hair, bulb shaped, complete free loft, which to me equates to a knot that lends to fast lather production and optimum lather release. If you want to see a bit about the brush, here is a link with some pictures from our friend Teiste

Not receiving it, but it does look nice. Extremely tempting... It looks like it would make a great complement to the 75th Anniversary brush Vielong made in 2-band.

The group has the list closed already. Surprisingly, it was very affordable in my opinion! 95 euros before shipping is a steal. I'm not sure how many were made but they also made it available to members if they want to opt for a synthetic knot. If I find that I do not care for it and want to sell, let me know if you want me to message you.

Jesse, you and I have had many of the same brushes and have some similar tastes. But I wasn't too impressed by the 75th brush. But it could also be that I don't care for the 2 band brushes anymore, especially in the more bulb shapes.

It hit me that the handle is the same as the 75th, other than the handle material. It's a shame that it's closed now. I think it's that you don't have a preference for 2-band. I'm not sure where I stand with 2-band. When I want to use one I really enjoy them, but I typically lean towards 3-band. For me the 75th was a particularly excellent batch of 2-band. Some of the softest tips I've felt in a 2-band. The backbone I would probably put at Simpson 2-band level with maybe a touch more stiffness. Quite remarkable as the density of the Vielong doesn't approach Simpson's 2-band. If Primo doesn't want the brush let me know and I'll take you up on it if you don't like it.
