any of you shave using a few different razors within the same shaving session?

hey people so sometimes i have a bit of a weird habit of loading blades into a few different razors and using them all within the same shaving session,

was wondering if anyone else this at all?

like last shave for example, started with shavette did about 70% then went onto the leaf razors for about 20% then fancied using the fatrip grande open comb razor to finish off and straight side burns as i got a beard etc and touch up and missing bits and do neck line etc

was rather enjoyable tbh, as one frustrating thing for me is always having to wait a few days between head shaves,
obviously if youre a facial shaver you could get away with shaving more often imo

I shave my head and face everyday. 
As far as multiple razors during the same shave. Only when I'm interested in doing some A-B comparisons.

To me it’s logical to not use the same razor for subsequent passes.

It’s plain logic.

Cumbersome ? Yes !
Plain logic ? Yes !

A razor removing 2-3 days stubble will be very harsh on the subsequent passes.
I can’t see anyone disagreeing with this.

I use two razors for one shave.

Efficient one for first & second pass

Mild one for last pass.

If using a DE razor, I also use a very sharp blade in the mild razors and a more smooth blade in the very efficient razors.
It’s simple logic.

The only time I've done anything like this was to determine which setting on a Slim Adjustable felt most like a Henson AL13 Mild. I swapped the blade back and forth between the two razors while changing the Slim setting in between.
My subjective result was that the Henson felt about half way between #3 and #4 on a Slim, which is supported by the measured blade gaps.

But other than for that science experiment, no.
I keep the same hardware throughout a shave, perhaps only changing the setting on an adjustable, dialling it down one or two clicks for the front of my chin.

To me it’s logical to not use the same razor for subsequent passes.

Do you throw away both blades after each shave?

If I'm shaving my head and my face on the same night, I use two different razors, but other than that, not usually.

which razor you using everyday? or you rotate?

wish i could shave my head everyday but get way too much irritation tbh

interesting, yea so what razors would you use for the effcient ones and the milder ones?

I’ve been out of the DE razor game since 2017, but back then I would for instance use an R41 like razor on 3-4 days stubble on the first and second pass, then switch to a mild R89/DE89 like razor for the final pass.
