Very nice shave last night. Very smooth and took down about four days growth effortlessly with almost no irritation. Sixteen hours later and I am just now starting to feel bits of stubble coming back very nice. Used an Astra blade this time might try a feather next. Thanks for the chance to try this out!!

it looks like this pass around is wrapped up and both razors are heading my way. once I get them, I'll give it a whirl and share my thoughts....both razors will be auctioned off, eventually.

thanks again to Vlasta for sending us gear to try out!

Guys - that's great and I look forward to seeing how the auction goes!! The feedback is ALL gratefully received and if possible I would like to, anonymously, quote this in some of my web stuff - OK with you guys - no names no pack drill!!

Anything else you see from Alpha from time to time hit me up and I will give members of THIS pass-around group only a 15% discount.

Many thanks gentlemen for your time - it was my pleasure to read the feedback and thanks for making it happen!!

I had a shave in with the alpha razor last week, I plan on using it 1-2 more times as well before listing it up for auction.

the handle is quite heavy....the entire razor itself is probably heavier than any other SS razor in my den. I'll throw it on the scale later tonight with a few other razors just to compare numbers...

that said, I'm a fan of the matte looking finish on the handle. the head with its polished finish shows some scratches from use in the pass around. this is one of the reasons I'm not a fan of polished razors - I can't be "bothered" by the scratches.

the shave itself was pretty good! I'd call this a medium aggressive shaver with low blade feel with a good bit of audible feedback if I recall correctly.

I'll report more after my next shave.

thanks for letting us try the razor, Vlasta.
