I picked up my first GD soap decided on Boomer to start. I'm looking forward to trying it as it smells fantastic the scent strength seems right in my wheelhouse.

Emperor of Shaving
First shave with a mallard soap today; corretto. This soap base is exquisite. It lathered incredibly easy and took lots of water. It has a medium density structure and the scent was beautiful. The result is a very slick shiny lather.  The residual slickness between passes was amazing. A small amount of water on your face and you have enough slickness to easily go against the grain. The face feel is elite as with pretty much all GD soaps. The entire GD product experience from start to finish was sublime. In fact, the hydrating gel, pre shave and oil are all daily staples regardless.

Did you pick up any? I thought I’d give the coconut rum and Earl Grey Gelato a shot. Both seem pretty unique.
