At the risk of sounding like “Dudley Downer,” I’ll briefly use this as an opportunity to express gratitude, and empathy for others less fortunate....
The boundary between “alive” and “not alive” is far from clear when describing at a macro level collective human action. When viewed from above using time-lapse photography, rush hour traffic patterns around metropolitan centers resemble a beating human heart. Whether animate or inanimate, the interplay of yin and yang is never-ending, so all things ebb and flow over time. For many suffering people, this most recent (and tragically still-ongoing) pandemic has been a real challenge, and for far too many it has been a heart-breaking, and spirit-breaking challenge. Yet many have experienced and displayed courage, fortitude, and selflessness they had never before known or even imagined themselves capable of. Such is life. Overall, there has likely been less time, energy, and desire for participating in the shaving forums. We here now are a fortunate subset. For me, the forums have been welcome respite. But truly everything oscillates, even shaving forums at some level and rate, always. The forums are still viable!
