Knurling is perfect.  Easy to grip and aesthetically nice.  My only concern was that the head (being an adjustable) would be bulky.  Ended up being a non issue.

Rex Ambassador is a great choice. My choice before you picked the Rex based on your preferences were the Carbon ++ Stainless or H&S P076 17-4 SB. Anyways, enjoy the Ambassador, best knurling handle I have held.

If you like this razor at 4 or higher then you'd definitely like a vintage French made Gibbs adjustable which IIRC is the razor the Ambassador takes it's design cues from. Only issue with a Gibbs is the need to modify blades to make them usable and the alignment tends to be finicky depending how you modify the blade. If it is something you decide to consider at some point I'd ask around first to see how other users have gone about dealing with both.

3D printed blade aligners make it the best adjustable I've used hands down.

Agreed. These 3D aligners are game changers for the Gibbs as far as I'm concerned. I no longer need to try to center a hole punch just-so over the edge in order to make a blade fit. Now it's just a few quick snips with a scissors and my alignment is perfect every time.

I am now very done. Since the addition of the REX Ambassador I made a couple of changes. I purchased a Titanium Stork Hedgehog handle with a Cerakote finish and paired it with my Tatara black coated head. I then purchased a Haircut & Shave N075 Black coated head and paired it with a Satin Wolfman WRH 1 with stand. Thanks again for all the help.

Great choice on the Rex. With the stand it will fit in nicely in your den. I find that it shaves smoother at setting 4 and higher. I started using it on setting 3 and I was not into it. It’s amazing once you crank it open and use a sharp blade.
