Another one that takes the Artist Club blades. Why won't somebody make a modern SE that uses GEM blades?? For the life of me I can't figure it out. Oh well. That certainly does look like a nice razor, but I'll pass. Thanks for the heads up though. I'm sure a lot of folks here will be interested.

I think it might have something to do with the way the razors need to be designed due to the spine on the GEM blades. I could be wrong though, of course!

Sure! Stan clearly knows what he is doing. I met him along with a few other razor manufacturers at a recent event, and he was by far the most impressive.
His ATT S1 and S2 models are my current daily drivers, so naturally the SE is of interest to me.

It's a matter of economics. There is a lot more choice of blades with the AC type razors. Manufacturers are in it to make a profit.
