Does anyone have info on the A1 synthetic knot used by Wald?   Wondering who produces the knot and whether any other brush makers are using it. Wald brushes look very nice but are out of my price range for a brush.

They are hand tied by Jannik at Wald Shaving.

that’s very cool.  Didn’t know that artisans were tying their own synthetic knots.

Do you know if he sells these knots separately?

As far as I know he is the only one doing it. I can imagine it must be a right pain in the a… with all those extra thin hairs.

I don‘t think he sells just the knots but imagine they would be expensive if he did.

Does anyone know the supplier of the synth hair used in the knots? Wondering if its what Simpson/Muhle use.
