There is beauty in most everything, that is, if we stop long enough to appreciate the ways of the world around and within us!

That was a very well written and insightful missive, John. An enlightening look at one man's experiences with shaving over the course of time, and all the more interesting because it contrasts greatly with my own shaving experiences. Thank you very much for making that post!

Thank you for the comments. Each of us has his own story, and I think it is our current appreciation of wet shaving that enables us to look back more clearly at our journeys.

You know, I once went to a doctor and during conversation it arrived at him saying that during his residency he experimented (on himself) with applying estrogen to his facial skin to see if he could make it as a product that would rid the need of shaving ... and it worked!
I asked him if he was worried of it affecting him in other ways and he replied "nahh... it was only topical"....
I am sticking with my razors nonetheless Smile
