One of our Korean shaving community members created a beautiful masterpiece with the help of a Korean silver artisan. So I want to share some pics of the brush.

Material Used

Shavemac D01 silvertip 28mm knot
925 solid sterling silver
24k solid gold
Cocobolo wood
Ebony wood
Amboyna Burl wood

What is engraved on the ferrule is an ancient Korean song praising the virtue of Buddha. Hope you enjoy the beauty of the brush

Very Korean. Often wonder why SV doesn’t execute a genuine marble or granite version of their brush trimmed in silver or gold

Yes. It is very Korean and that's the main reason I like it There's no such Korean brush on the market. Smile

Very Korean was intended a complement. My most favoured music of the classical period are nationalist pieces; same with the physical arts, particularly paintings.  Great art should reflect the collective history, struggles, triumphs, philosophy and soul of the people from whence it arises in my opinion.

Thats an amazing brush - beautiful.  I imagine the silver will need polishing but will accumulate tarnish in the low relief areas adding to its appearance over time.

Don't worry. I thought of it as compliment, too Smile and I totally agree with what you wrote.
