A close look at Wolfman Razors & BIG Wolfman news!

I owned an early version and now these two late models. All have been excellent shavers and as you noted, they lock the blade in very well.

TSEvangelist thanks for a great review of a fantastic razor - I have the WR1 in the combination safety bar / open comb and I love it - the mirror polish finish is incredible - Narcissus himself would be lost in his own reflection coming off this baby. Even the threads are finished to such a degree that screwing and unscrewing the razor handle from the head is like turning liquid satin steel if there is such a thing. A chorus of angels greets you when you reach for your Wolfman razor for your morning shave.

An aside, in relation to several artisans closing their doors and your post where you commented that it isn't necessarily competition related, i.e. , folks get overwhelmed or have career demands etc (success is a double edged sword) I respect James for having the discipline and the courage to say that he likes to work alone and he will fill orders when he can and he will not compromise his standards. I appreciate that he took the time to post it on DFS and I certainly respect his approach.

Thanks again for the video TSE! This is helping me narrow my future purchases. Also, the comparison video you did was very helpful since it puts my mind at ease regarding the differences. My original plan was to go with the SB, so I think I'll stick with that.

Marko , it is unusual but completely agree. Like threading liquid and unique vs. any other razor I have ever used. I thought it would go away with use to be honest but still has that silky feeling.
