Asked Murat about this a while ago and he confirmed that there is no reason to have anything made outside of Turkey because they have excellent machinist and CNC machinery there. Everything he does is 100% made in Turkey.

After using the Blackland Osprey since it's released, I boxed it up and plan to hand it off to my son.

For my face, no adjustable comes close to the Sailor.

Thanks to a generous member, here. I was able to satiate a desire to try a Sailor, via the hybrid model. Have to say it is the most efficient DE razor I have ever tried and surprisingly smooth, along with the aesthetic beauty, to boot. This version is not as heavy as I had imagined. Overall, some of the best shaves I've gotten with any razor I've tried in the past 13 years. Smile

Welcome to the club, friend. The Sailor may not completely cure your RAD but it will probably calm it down quite a bit. Glad you likey.

I'm probably an outsider here as far as the Rocnel Sailor's. I had one 2 years ago and sold it to another forum user. It was a great shaver, but it felt just a little heavy for my liking (compared to my other Adjustables - looking at you, original HLS Taiga) and I just felt the cost didn't justify the shave. I truly respect Murat and love his ingenuity, engineering, and finishing work. I have a Rocnel SE-P that I'm not planning on ever getting rid of.

Anyway, I just acquired a second-hand Hybrid from clint64 and after two shaves... this guy isn't going anywhere! It feels better balanced for me, and the weight feels just right. Of course, YMMV, but this version of the Sailor addresses my personal quirks with the earlier one and beyond.

Can anyone recommend a stand for it?? I reached out to Murat but haven't heard back yet. Thank you all for the awesome pics. I had a quick shave this AM before my ER shift and didn't snap one. Have a wonderful day all.

Happy Shaves!

Josh

May I ask what is the weight of the Hybrid Sailor?
