This was one GRUME I'm really glad I failed  Big Grin

I've been using a GSB.  Next up will be my go to Polsilver SI.

I think you will really enjoy it with the Polsilver SI. For me, this blade felt sharper/more efficient with the Sailor than other razors.

Gentlemenly Restraint Until Month's End.  Kind of a self-imposed intervention of no buying shaving stuff for a month.  It's from another site.  For those with an addiction  Cool
Gotcha, thanks.
I was doing a No Buy 2021. "Was" is the keyword. The '21 Sailor was my downfall. Still going to try to make it the rest of the year without another shave related purchase.

I saw the video with John. I thought it was a great first impressions/early review. Got me laughing when he called it "Rocnel Anchor".

Rocnel Anchor...heheh. Wonder how I didn't think of that?

It sounds like he likes it so far. It will be interesting to see how he likes it when he opens it up some.

Thanks for the heads up on the video.

Congrats friend. Glad it showed up quickly. Any thoughts vs 2020 model?

It was interesting to watch the video and see the razor being used.
I kind of understood a little better where that 'wobble' comes from....obviously
there is a point beyond which it isn't advisable to open up the gap any more.
I think he said the top cap starts to get a bit loose after 2 entire turns...ie. at what might be
the 11 mark.

Set the Sailor at 2.5 and went on cruise control. Awesome!

My '20 goes up to 14 for max setting. Anything approaching 10 and beyond gets pretty dicey.

At 14 it was downright ferocious. I tried it on a 2 week beard and was only brave enough to try one pass WTG taking down my sideburns only. At that point I told myself why bother? Might as well use a straight razor, because it felt like one.
