My 2021 Sailor has the same top cap rattle that others are observing. My Rex Ambassador does not have a similar rattle. IMHO the rattle is not a defect, but rather, inherent to the design of the Sailor.
The Rex has two separate knobs, one to tighten the top cap, and another to adjust the blade gap. Thus, the top cap can always be kept tight (with the dedicated knob) while the blade gap is adjusted independently. The Sailor accomplishes both of those functions with only one knob. Hence, when one increases the blade gap, by turning the dual-function knob, the top cap rattle tends to become more pronounced... Just my two cents.

2nd shave set at level 5 for WTG using a 2nd used Polsilver blade and ETHOS Greenfresh soap. The blade feel is definitely present but it was a smooth shave knocking down the majority of my 48 hr beard. 2nd pass ATG I dialed it down to 3 and received a very smooth, with minimal blade feel, BBS shave. This is a remarkably smooth razor, and other than the weight, I have no criticism of this razor. The balance is excellent but I will need a little more time to adjust to the weight of the razor.

This makes sense, it's probably the design, dual-function dial.
Maybe slightly stronger springs would change this.

First shave in the books. I decided to try it at the lowest setting, the •. I did my usual three passes. Wonderful super smooth shave! I do have a bit of sandpaper under my chin which I attribute to user error. I lost the angle. I'll dial it up to I tomorrow and keep working my way up as I get to know the razor.
Have a great day!

It's hard for me to picture this, apart from the video that Keto posted.
Clearly, everyones is enjoying the shaves, so it's not interfering with the functionality.
But doesn't a loose top cap mean the blade isn't as tightly gripped as it should be?
Or does the top cap only wiggle/rattle when there is no blade inside?
