Today's shave was a pleasant surprise after all the criticism I have heard about the Gillette version of the Schick Band Razors. The Gillette shave was virtually identical to the Schick. Both are sharp and very smooth and handled in an identical manner. Blade longevity is yet to be determined.

Razor: Gillette Adjustable Band Techmatic. The cartridge holds the equivalent of ten blades.
There is a good range of adjustments. I cautiously used half way and will probably stay there.

Blade: Gillette Adjustable Band Techmatic. First shave set on #9. It counts backwards. BBS.

Brush: RazoRock Plissoft 'Monster' Synthetic. It doesn't brush. It Caresses.

Bowl: Michal Yoredh Electric. I am prejudiced.

Cream: The Real Shaving Co. 'Sensitive' cream. It has more glide than The Toronto Maple Leaf's skating rink.

What a way to start the day.
